I'm Erica Leigh

Hey everyone! I am so glad you are here! Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I am a self taught wedding & lifestyle photographer serving Leon, Franklin and surrounding counties. I moved to Tallahassee in 2008 after graduating high school to attended TCC where I graduated with an A.A. degree and a A.A.S in Radiologic Technology. I worked at Walgreens all through college and was promoted to Assistant Manager in 2017. My honey bought my first Nikon DSLR camera in 2014 & I began photographing couples, families & maternity. Now I get to spend my evenings and days doing what I love, being a full time photographer.

 

When I'm not photographing or editing portraits, you will find me on the beach enjoying the hot Florida sunshine or offshore fishing with my dad for grouper & snapper. It's our bonding time.

During winters, you will find my husband & I in the woods chasing tails with our hound dogs or fireside with some great friends & good food. You're subject to find me at any Mexican Restaurant anytime since it's my favorite go to when I'm hungry! Since I grew up at Carrabelle beach, it's my absolute favorite place to be, whether I'm relaxing or photographing sessions there or on the beautiful St. George Island & Cape San Blas beaches.

 Photography can be so much fun, I absolutely love the opportunity & challenges of working with all ages, types of clients & our ever changing Florida weather. I love when clients are anxious to see their gallery & even happier when they receive their final products. It's very rewarding when clients watch their gallery during the image reveal & ordering session for the first time, they often have no idea that I captured those sweet, special candid & lifestyle moments during their session that shows their personality.
